About Leah
As a psychotherapist for over 17 years, I have clinical experience in individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, home-based treatment, and school-based counseling. Currently practicing with Midwest Psychiatric Center in West Chester, Ohio, I provide individual psychotherapy to clients age 7 and up.

EMDR Therapy is the primary treatment model I use in my work, however I am prepared to utilize and integrate other therapeutic approaches as well. I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Brief Treatment, and Psychodynamics. I integrate mindfulness strategies, bibliotherapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy practices into my work with clients, emphasizing individualized, client-centered care.

Some of the specialty areas in my work include treating Complex/Developmental Trauma, ethical integration of client spirituality in psychotherapy, as well as healing Religious Abuse and Spiritual Trauma.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with husband and our two children. Music and art are a big part of my spirituality, self-expression, and self-care. I also enjoy yoga, reading, being outdoors, and watching sports with my family.
